You are cordially invited to aa exhibition talk of the Displaced Water Tank 2 Screens Surround Sound exhibition on Wednesday, 9 April 2025, at 4pm. The exhibition will be guided by the project curator Ondřej Merta.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

AXONTORR is a collaborative project between artists and musicians Simon Kounovsky (FR) and Oliver Torr (CZ), currently based in Athens. Initially, their roles were divided – the visual side was handled by Simon, while the musical component was guided by renowned musician and sound designer Oliver. Over time, however, these roles have begun to organically merge within the project.

The exhibition Displaced Water Tank 2 Screens Surround Sound is a 44-second reverberation of their intensive residency at Vasulka Kitchen Brno in the autumn of 2024. During this period, the artists took full advantage of Brno's creative environment and focused on developing new instruments and a musical set, which they later presented during performances in Brno's water tanks.
