Alyona Shapovalova (RU)

Alyona Shapovalova is an artist, whose work encompasses research-based, performative, and video art. She graduated from the Video Art Studio at Rodchenko Art School (Moscow, 2018) and participated in the New Normal think-tank program at Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture, and Design (Moscow, 2019). She has shown her work at the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art (Moscow, 2021), Strelka Institute (Moscow, 2019), Ekaterina Cultural Foundation (Moscow, 2018), and ISSMAG Gallery (Moscow, 2017). Now lives and works in Leipzig, Germany. Studies at HGB Leipzig.
