We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition Vojtěch Luksch: Still Life With Message Box on Tuesday 30 January 2024 in the G99 gallery in the House of the Lords of Kunštát.
SPECIAL GUEST: DUNKELBOT
At the vernissage, DUNKELBOT from swamps and marshes will creep through the corridors. Look forward to dungeon synth / obscure dark ambient.
DUNKELBOT is one of the few Czech projects of dungeon synth, an obscure underground genre based on developing sound elements from video game soundtracks and visually appropriating gaming experiences from dark catacombs.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Vojtěch Luksch (*1992) works with the aesthetics of early computer games. He paints fragments of video games from the 1980s and 1990s into found embroidered images. In his work, an eight-bit aesthetic meets kitsch landscapes from grandparents' legacies. He works with nostalgia for his childhood, when computer games were played on visits to relatives. Vojtěch Luksch is a graduate of the Painting Studio 1 at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Brno University of Technology under Vasil Artamonov.
The exhibition is a part of the Brno Artists in Residence programme, which Vojtěch Luksch completed in autumn 2023.
