Walk Through the House of the Lords of Kunštát

We warmly invite you to a special guided tour of both the public and non-public areas of the House of the Lords of Kunštát on Sunday, 13 April, at 3pm. This event is part of the Brno Art Week 2025 festival.

This Renaissance building has a rich history, with archaeological discoveries revealing Gothic brickwork from the late 13th century. Its current form dates back to the Renaissance period when it was owned by the Kunštát family, after whom it is named.

How does a contemporary art gallery function within a historical monument? How did the archive of Woody Vasulka, a pioneer of electronic art, come to be housed here? And what hidden artworks can be found within the building and its courtyard? Discover the answers during this unique tour.

The program takes place both indoors and outdoors and is open to the public.
