Abstraction, Calculation, Speculation
22. 5. 2017 – 26. 5. 2017
House of Arts
Today, speculation has mainly been related to financial operations aiming to predict and control the future on the basis of various probability models. On the other hand, philosophical speculation accepts the future in its irreducible uncertainty. How are reflections about calculation, algorithmization and speculation manifested in art, and how is it in philosophy? And how do they transform the mutual relationship between these disciplines?
