Kristina Günther-Vieweg

German actress, singer and musician born in 1977; today she lives in Hagen. Kristina Günther-Vieweg studied history, philosophy and german literature at the Humboldt Universität Berlin and graduated from the acting school in Berlin-Charlottenburg. From 2000-2005, Kristina Günther-Vieweg was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Theater Neustrelitz, where she played Hedwig in Henrik Ibsens The Wild Duck, as Polly in The Threepenny Opera and as fool in What You Wanted. She also worked as a freelance actress and reciter both in Germany and abroad. In 2013 she founded the ensemble peripher together with Lydia Starkulla and Antje Hobucher. Since the 2015/2016 season, she has worked as a dramaturge for the children's and youth theater lutz of the theater hagen, on whose stage she is also regularly seen as an actress. During her stay in Brno, Kristina Günther-Vieweg will help prepare and present the interactive German-Czech play Schauspiel written by the director Jiří Honzírek.

The stay of residential artist is realized via Meeting Brno festival and supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic. The artist will take part in the Czech-German Cultural Spring celebrations.
