System Aesthetics and New Materialism

Contemporary art and contemporary philosophy show tendencies to overcome fixed ideas on a hierarchical relation between the active subject and the passive object, which leads to a new constitution of relations between people and things. How is this tendency manifested in art, and how is it in philosophy? And what may be the mutual productive influences of these disciplines?
