Tangents

The Tangents exhibition, designed on the format of 13 + 1, is dedicated to some of the prominent graduates of the Drawing Studio of Professor Jitka Svobodová at the Prague Academy of Fine Arts, which she headed for over twenty years, from 1990 to 2011/2012. Its uniqueness stemmed from teaching that emphasized inner personality growth and a wide selection of technical means based on drawing. These also included spray paint used in a pioneering way. The exhibition will introduce thirteen artists in different periods of their work after leaving the Drawing Studio, including some selected school work. Jitka Svobodová’s drawings will also be featured in the exhibition.
