Viktor Pivovarov: The Gardens of the Monk Rabinovich
The exhibition The Gardens of the Monk Rabinovich at the House of Arts Brno presents part of the work of Viktor Pivovarov, one of the founders of Moscow Conceptualism. The whole exhibition is a specific journey through the various halls, which can be perceived as special gardens - Musical, of the Singing Rose, June, Eidetic, Night or Disappeared. And the Gardens of the Monk Rabinovich themselves are not missing. Each hall-garden presents completely different image cycles and albums, whose connecting element is a very fragile, distinctive poetics.
In a video by Václav Jirásek, Viktor Pivovarov walks through his garden in Prague-Kunratice and introduces the ideas that are connected with the theme of the exhibition.
